Today is my betiful gitlls birthday. Happy birthday my love !

 

We took one of our favorite hikes.. We walked the Duck book trail backwards.. well we didn’t walk backwards, but we did it the opposite way we usually do.. We parked a car up on notch road and then hiked from our house. It’s definitely a harder hike goign that way. Really beautiful today.. with not much snow left. 

 

 

We sat for a good long while at our favorite beaver pond on the hike. We were really quiet and got to hear owls hoot, and woodpeckers, knocking and some other big animals moving outside of our sight

.

When we got home, there was a gift for Diane from Gabe. We had found these beautiful colored rocks on a beach on the terrane sea in Italy last September. They were particularly colorful, but like all colored rocks, they were less bright once they had dried off from the ocean. We had left them with Gabe to give them a try in his rock Tumblr. He polished them and sent them back to Diane for her birthday. They are really beautiful.

We spent the rest of the day working in the garden including assembling Dianes new cold frames.. they are from austria and amazingly well made. They have a simple pneumatic device that opens and closes the top based on temperature !

 

then we worked in the garden clearign off last years mess

 

We finished DIanes bruthday with a great meal at SPices of India ..

Got out for a hike we’d been meaning to take for a while. THere’s an adaptive mountain bike trail between our house and waterbury. It’s used by folks  with different abilities to zoom down mountains on bikes.. wow !. The trails were so nice to hike. beutifully marked and banked. SO cool 

Today is easter.. and I don’t knwo what to do with that anymore with no one around to hide candy for 🙂

Can you read you fortune in a cup of codffee ? Not sure.. but this is how my day started.. promises to be an interesting day !

 

FIrst order of biz was a mornign meeting at the hive to discuss our upcoming Fluffy Talk at Generator on April 5.  It was nice seeing all our friends.. Its been a tough time since Rebar had to leave Beta… and it was nice to see him with all our freinds today. 

 

We quickly came together on a flow for the talk.. which is part of Gnerators Reckless Ideas program. We decided to show the Making of Fluffy Movie then follow with  a panel with the core team. (

we’ll thats sounds easy !

Later in the day, we went up to see Brad and Charlotte and Casey in their “new” house. They’ve been there a while, but we haven’t made it up that far yet. It’s in Georgia Vermont and absolutely beautiful. It’s beautiful land house itself is beautiful and they’re beautiful people. It was so great seeing how happy and settled in they were. They’re such great people.!

 

We made homemade pasta on the “Guitara”… Casey did a lot of the work

 

Brad and Sam were best friends and it was so great seeing all the same stuff around there. Casey even calls him “uncle Sam”… Even though they never met each other. It made me   happy-sad-happy

Made us both so happy to see them all so happy!

Busy friday. Usually I dont work on Fridays, but we’re getting ready for a big work deadline. so wnt in.. did some shopping for the birthday weekend. 

High point of the day was a quick hike up gleason brook
